Following a legacy-defining win in a critical North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) victory at #11/9 DePauw University, 31-27, the Blue Streaks have Homecoming Weekend to look forward to.
The Blue Streaks (6-1, 5-0 NCAC) look to remain in the driver’s seat for a conference crown, taking on The College of Wooster on Saturday at 1:05 pm.
On Friday, Frank Ross ’10 will be enshrined and the Gridiron Club will sponsor the 2025 JCU Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The cocktail hour starts at 6 pm followed by the event at 7:30 pm.
On Saturday, the tailgate kicks off at 10 am, with two special ceremonies beforehand. The new Wrestling Room will be christened at 10 am on Saturday. Then at 10:30 am, the Dave Rastoka ’90 Athletic Hall of Fame will be christened. Join us in the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center and the Athletic, Wellness, & Events Center for that.
At 11 am, the tailgate on South Belvoir will be in full swing in advance of the 1:05 pm kickoff.
Before the game, the 1965 and 1969 Football Teams will be honored. Shortly before kickoff, the family of Ted Uritus ’62 will be recognized on field at we save the Seat of Honor for Ted. In between the first and second quarters, the 1975 Wrestling Team will be honored for the 50th anniversary of the school’s only national championship.
