Another Blue Streak is headed to the NFL!

Tyler Habursky ’24  has been hired by the Cleveland Browns as a Scouting Assistant. Habursky started as a student-athlete with JCU Football before an injury forced him to the sidelines. However, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as Habursky found a home on the coaching staff.

The Erie, Pennsylvania native transitioned into a role on staff as a defensive quality control coach. Habursky did well in this role, while acquiring his degree in Business Administration & Management with a minor in Leadership.

Habursky is the 43rd Blue Streak now in the NFL. The Cleveland Browns now have 7 Blue Streaks working in the organization.

Amongst those Blue Streaks is Chris Polian ’93, who was also recently hired by the Browns, joining the organization last month. A star member of the pipeline, Polian previously served as General Manger of the Indianapolis Colts and most recently worked for the Washington Commanders as Director of Pro Personnel.

In his new role, Polian will serve as Advisor to the GM, “working directly with the club’s senior football executive team on all strategic roster and football operations decisions.”
