For just the second time in program history, John Carroll Football can claim a member of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.

All-American center Matt Wrather is one of 22 football players from across the country to earn the distinction, one of just five student-athletes in Division III.

Wrather earns the honor thanks to his excellent work off the field and in the community, as the Powell, Ohio native is a consistent leader in service work. The senior has made an indelible impact on the John Carroll and Northeast Ohio communities.
