What are some of your favorite memories as a student at JCU?
There are countless memories from meeting some of my best friends in the dorms freshman year, to spending time with my teammates on and off the field. Getting to travel with the team to different stadiums and places to play have been some of my best memories here at Carroll.
What is the best part about being a student-athlete at JCU?
It’s the tight-knit community. Being a student-athlete at JCU means you having a second family and a brotherhood for life. The ability to create lifelong friendships and a support system that’s hard to find anywhere else.
What else have you been involved with on campus besides football?
I have been involved with Labre as well as a bit with the Pre Dental Club, along with the many service opportunities football presents.
Which JCU faculty or staff member has made the greatest impact on you and why?
Dean Paul. I believe that Coach Paul has really seen my potential as a player and a person, and provided the time and guidance I need as a player to be the best version I can on and off the field.
Reflecting back on your time at JCU, what advice would you give an incoming freshman?
Don’t be afraid to reach out to upperclassmen and ask questions and just talk about football as well as what else is going on as you transition. It’s a good way to get to know some guys and get yourself a bit more out there.
