WHY: The JCU Gridiron Club (GIC) is the official support group recognized by John Carroll University Department of Athletics. All contributions are tax-deductible and go directly to the John Carroll football program. The GIC mission is to contribute to the advancement of Blue Streak football in a method consistent with the parameters set by the NCAA, the Ohio Athletic Conference, and John Carroll University. JCU GIC members work with the coaches and athletic administrative staff to achieve the following goals:
- Raise money for special projects and services for the football program and staff that are not provided for in the annual Athletic Department budget
- Sponsor and conduct activities that foster a positive football family atmosphere and spirit
- Ensure good communication and exchange of information between between all stakeholders.
- Provide a hub football alumni to reconnect.
Use of Funds
The Blue Streak Gridiron Club funds go directly to the John Carroll University football program.
Working directly with the Brian Polian and Jeff Behrman, the Gridiron Club is looking to supplement the program in whatever ways needed to help the program compete on a national stage.
The Gridiron Club will have the ability to spend the funds as it sees fit for the development of John Carroll Football.
